I finally decided to change my lj layout and found a pretty one by

freelayouts comm. I think it's very soothing and restful to look at. It's a good thing I have fast internets now, I never would have gotten it to load on dial-up before.

Today, I noticed that there are now large stone markers on Main St. declaring it "Old Town". By which they apparently mean, the part of town built during the 60's. That's just. . . really retarded. And okay, it is in truth the older part of town, but it's no excuse to put up a marker just to be overly literal. There's not even anything of real interest there, just a few boring shops and bunch of churches. I swear, this is almost as embarrassing as the time they named a street after Toby Keith.

In other news, I have three days off of work, yay. I'm going to go re-read The Half-Blood Prince. And maybe watch a few movies.
