I finished my first biscornu this week.

own_two_hands translated the instructions from the French (they're apparently quite popular with craftsters there) and posted them on the ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
cross_stitch comm where several have popped up since. I really like this maneki neko patterned one in particular. Since it seemed like a nice way to use up some stash (especially variegated threads), I decided to try making an autumn themed one myself.

Remember how I said I was ordering Windows XP? Well, I found it today, in my house. My dad apparently bought it, tried it out and uninstalled it. I didn't even remember that. *facepalm* Fortunately, I stumbled upon it before I opened up the new one so I can still mail it back to Amazon for a refund. I think I'll try to install it tonight. Hopefully, it won't kill my computer ded. If you don't hear from me, send reinforcements.
