Jul. 11th, 2007 11:18 pmI'm so glad that this is my last week working mornings. If I had to to do this forever, I think I would cry. Next week, I start going to work from 4p to 12:30am, which is much more manageable. Despite being tired all day, I inexplicably perk up around 10pm and can't bring myself to go to sleep before 1am. Naps are not helping either. *is lame*
I couldn't go see Harry Potter last night either because I had to get up early today, wah. I prefer going to midnight showings, despite the occasional risk of sitting next to the Kraken. But I'm supposed to go see it with
mythicalgryphon on Saturday, so there's that to look forward to. MUST NOT READ SPOILERS.
( and I ramble about cross stitch for a bit )
And so this isn't just about whinging and cross stitch, here's a picture I took of Sarah's cat, Beatle.

Beatle is not a particularly friendly cat, but on the 4th of July, Nicole made a banana pudding from a Southern Living recipe(seriously the best banana pudding I've had; it had chunks of pound cake in it) and Sarah let Beatle lick some of the bowl. After the pudding, he was so happy, he wanted everyone to pet him and he nearly fell off the table. Several times. It was like he was drunk on pudding.
Now I'm going to get a last minute snack and try to get some sleep. Curse you internets for being so distracting!
