(no subject)

It has not been a fantastic week since my last post. I called out sick from work on Friday and Saturday. I'm not sure if I finally succumbed to a fever that was lurking about or if it was yet another misbegotten attempt at dining on Taco Bell at 2am. (Whenever I eat there, I inevitably get sick. And idiot that I am, I always forget that the next time I get a craving for tacos. Well, never again say I.) Either way, it was gross and not the fun filled days of hookey that I would have preferred.

I am still feeling discouraged about work. I'm trying to make an effort to like it there, it's just that the place is so busy that I feel overwhelmed mostall of the time. My head starts to ache within an hour of being there. I know a few people from my old workplace who've made the same move; two really love it here, but at least one other is also stressed out. I applied at another job last week, but I haven't heard anything back :(

All this being rather depressing, I haven't managed to accomplish anything but apathetically moping about and watching Law & Order: Criminal Intent. (Question: Is Vincent D'Onofrio's character ever wrong?) I did finally get around to putting some of my bpal stash on Ebay. I'm selling 5mls of Pumpkin Patch 2005 and Harvest Moon '06. Why in the world I thought I needed five bottles of pumpkin scented perfume in the first place I do not know. I must have been crazy. I'll just be happy to get rid of them.

I put on some Lurid Library today , but it smells like old lady :P It reminds me too much of helping old ladies order crap out of the JCPenney catalog (another of my past dead-end jobs). Which is odd because this isn't the reaction the first time I tried Lurid Library, but I won't be ordering a bottle anyway. None of the Haunted House scents have really worked for me. That makes me sad. I still have the Perilous Parlour to try though.

Also ABC doesn't have the last two episodes of Pushing Daisies online. *is pissed*
