Wiener schnitzel. For lunch, I met Sarah at Ingrid's Kitchen over on 36th st and tried German food. I've never been to a German restaurant before, it was quite nice although I wasn't too fond of the red cabbage or the sauerkraut. Next time I want to try the braunschweiger (sp?) sandwich. Mmm, liverwurst. They also had a bakery and I bought a box of various cookies. The marzipan cookies were the best ones, mmm. Will definitely buy more of those next time.

After lunch, we stopped by Barnes & Nobles. I bought a biography of Jimmy Stewart and (yet another) novel about Anne Boleyn, Brief Gaudy Hour. Going to San Diego again next week (my sister asked me to check on her apartment while she is deployed) and I need something to read on the plane. Which to take however?

I really like this website of doll photography: Turquoise Children. Very beautiful, evocative and a tad creepy :) Hmm, I also want to say that I think they also convey a lovely sense of nostalgia, but I'm not sure that accurately describes their mood. Me not articulate today.

And I have finally found a Japanese band whose music I like. Or at least, they have two songs that I really like. "Romance" by Buck-Tick has been stuck in my head for a few days now. The video is good too, despite the creepy mime and clown.

Their other song that I like is "Kagerou". Pretty video too.

Going to work later. Am sure I will not like that.
