Got to come home early from work due to a scheduling snafu, which meant that I got to see most of Barack Obama's speech at the DNC. Yay! I thought it was a great speech and it put a lump in my throat for most of it. *starting to get sniffly again* It made me very happy, and proud to be a Democrat. A lot of the time, it's like what Will Rogers once said, "I don't belong to any organized party, I'm a Democrat." Even after what, seventy or eighty odd years, it's still a very true comment, but occasionally, we come together and get some things right :D And I even have to say, John McCain's commercial where he congratulated Obama on his nomination was very graciously done. Oh, and I loved Bill Clinton's speech last night too. I miss Bill; he always gave good speech unlike a certain current president.
