Mmm, I just had a yummy snack of cheese and crackers and apples. I went to Vennissimo cheese while in San Diego and picked up some of my favorite cheeses. This time around I bought some
Boschetto (cheese with truffles), Mt Tam and delice de bourgogne, my favorite brie. It is so soft and creamy, it is just like butter. Maybe later I will have some gjetost for dessert.

It looks like my exchange partner in the Halloween cross stitch has received her package, so I can go ahead and post what I made for her. It's a floss tag made from Just Nan's Screamgirls design.

Another recent finish is this altoids tin that I made for my sister. She owns ferrets (and is currently waging a losing battle in convincing our mother to get her own). They're totally adorable creatures. There is a sad lack of cross stitch patterns of ferrets, by the way.

Here's the inside. That picture was nicked from Cute Overload, to be honest.

Now I just have one exchange left to finish and that's the mattress pincushion one. I still have quite a bit to do in order to get it mailed out by the deadline on Wednesday. Enough gadding about on the internet for me then. I think I'll rewatch Penelope while I work on it some more.
