So this is what I've been working on, finally finished. Her name is Ludivine.
This is how the doll arrived. She came as a kit from S. Korea, the Motherland! I think my mail lady is slightly freaked out about how much doll stuff I order.
My house has the ugliest '70's shag carpeting of anyone I know, by the way.
It took me a long time to get her face done. Here's what it looks like close up. Despite giving her a French name (I've always thought Ludivine sounded pretty), I wanted to give her Japanese Heian era moth eyebrows. The end result is not quite as stylized (or symmetrical), but I'm happy with it. She looks rather nice bald, in a punk kind of way.
I need to get her some less drag queeny eyelashes, but it's what I had on hand at the time.
Passed out after hitting the booze.
