My reviews are like yours - I can't pick out amber or plum or whatever, mine are, "I smell like werewolves and yay!" But "Antique Lace, only darker" works for me, and I intend to buy some. In fact, will now. Oh, whut, Xmas? I'm supposed to get stuff for other people? Whoops.
Hesperides - nutty green apple??!- sounds lovely. Have you ever tried The Caterpillar? Dude, I can't even tell you what it smells like - it's not floral, it's not dark, it's not incense-y or bitter... it just undulates. At random times when I'm wearing it I have a bad tendency to scream "I am so hot for myself right now."
