what i ate...
Aug. 2nd, 2006 10:34 pmokay, so I am wading my way through the morass of laziness and here are a few of my belated vacation pictures. To start with, here are pictures of things I ate because a)one of the most important parts about travel is eating new food and b)trips to California in particular mostly involve my eating my way across the state. Also, I like to take pictures of food, so here you go.

This is a bowl of tenjaeng (otherwise known as miso) seafood stew. (i could be mispelling that; Korean is hard.) We went to an awesome Korean restaurant in Oakland, called Pyung Chang Soft Tofu House. Their specialty are hot pots, in which the food is brought to you in ... well, a freakin' hot pot.
( more foody goodness under the cut )
*sigh* Am now hungry all over again!
