(no subject)
Aug. 30th, 2007 01:52 amI can't believe my two days off from work went by so fast. How sucky is that?
I did some much needed grocery shopping on Tuesday (exciting!)and stopped by the Korean market on my way home. Because I was dying from thirst and the heat, I bought a popsicle on my way out. Now I knew it was red bean flavored and I didn't have a problem with that in and of itself; I like red bean mochi and I like the red bean frostie at the bubble tea cafe. I don't mind it as a dessert flavor. What I was not expecting were actual BEANS in my popsicle. Texture-wise, it was like licking a frozen burrito. For some reason, that bothered me very much.
My To-Read List:'
finish up
I kind of have doubts about the last one on the list and whether it will live up to the hype, but eh, I could do with some wangsty vampire fiction.
Nerdy moment of the day: Bought a sheet of Jimmy Stewart stamps at the post office. I think I would vastly prefer to spend tomorrow hiding in bed and watching old Jimmy Stewart movies, than say, going to work at the call center tomorrow. Alas, I don't have any sick leave or any Jimmy Stewart dvds either, which is a clear sign I've screwed up my life and priorities somewhere along the way.
2nd nerdy moment of the day: debating whether to buy
And that's enough dullness from me for tonight. Off to sleep.
