I Netflixed Shakespeare Retold, a BBC series which puts Shakespearean stories in contemporary settings. So far, I've only seen the MacBeth one with James McAvoy as a murderous chef. It was pretty good; it was like Kitchen Confidential, but with more death. I liked the part where someone offhandedly mentions Gordon Ramsey and everyone in the kitchen gets quiet and someone says that it's bad luck to say his name, lol. I also liked
the part where McAvoy sings.I've just started work on my Valentine cross stitch exchange a couple days ago, but it is going pretty quickly. I think I might have it done within the week, but I'll have to go to the LNS to pick up some beads. I'm not sure what I'm going to finish it up as yet.
Also, some of the stitches on the Taj Mahal Garden are becoming unravelled. One of the rhodes stitches came loose entirely and in another spot, part of the backstitching frayed and tore. I try to anchor the threads carefully when I finish them, but I guess the slipperiness of the silk causes it to loosen over time. BUT WHY IS IT FRAYING? I haven't had this problem with silk before, but then again it hasn't taken me two years for a project before. I will never get done at this rate if I keep having to go back and redo what I've already stitched D:< It is
very frustrating.
Here, Gary Oldman will better express my delicate feelings for me.*

I feel an Amazon binge coming on, brb.
*I just wanted an excuse to use that macro. I like that he takes a moment to compose himself before going completely batshit.
