Gelato!

Today I went to Il Dolce in Norman to eat gelato. Okay, I had dinner at Johnny Carino's too, but who cares about that, I just wanted gelato. I had Vanilla Rum (which was just okay) and Roasted Almond, which was so awesome. And I tried a little bit of the Strawberry Balsamic too, good in a sweet and tangy way, but still, Roasted Almond for the win. I may have weirded them out with "Your gelato, I photographs it, kthnxbai."

Then I got some wild hair to go see Slumdog Millionaire, since I haven't been to the movies in awhile, and had to drive to the other side of Oklahoma City because Quail Springs is the only theater in town showing it. It was worth it, however and definitely one of the better movies I've seen in awhile. For a movie that has some very dark and squickworthy moments (and Danny Boyle outdoes the Scottish toilet scene with this one), it's all very happy making. Go see it :D
