ferrets and cake
Mar. 16th, 2010 11:11 pmThank you everyone, for the comments on the previous post. They made me feel a lot better. I appreciate it :) *hugs*
I bought one of those Scentsy jars from a coworker and now my house smells like birthday cake and ferret. Speaking of which, did I mention that it's harder to take pictures of ferrets than one would think? Anyway, here's the two non blurry furball pics I've managed.
Riceball sleeps funny.

She didn't even wake up when Manju came over (to see why I was laughing) and climbed all over her.
In other news, I finished reading Blackout by Connie Willis. That was such a good book! Although, there was an unfortunate editorial decision to break the story into two novels and now I have to wait till the fall to read the conclusion. D: There was not only a cliffhanger ending, but then inexplicably, one more chapter that ended the book on a jarring, unsatisfying note. But it was still one of the best books I've read this year though! I can't wait till All Clear comes out. If you haven't read any of Connie Willis's books before, I highly recommend her. She's one of my favorite writers.
I think the BBC should adapt Blackout into a series, so I can watch the hell out of it on the internets. Or To Say Nothing of the Dog, but not Doomsday Book because that would put me in a crying funk for a week.
