1) Do you have a "special" diet preference/requirement? If so, what is it?
Bacon. If I look at a menu and see something comes with bacon, I will automatically order that item.

2) Name some foods you know of but would never (knowingly) put in your mouth.
I'd like to think that I'd be willing to experiment with any food, short an episode of Fear Factor. That said, I would not eat lamb fries or bugs. There is a steak house here in OKC that sells lamb fries, but I've never been tempted.

3) Name 5 of your "favorite" foods (not veggies, see below).
Bacon, shrimp, lobster, chicken, cheese (all kinds)

4) Name 5 of your "favorite" vegetables.
potatoes, asparagus, green beans, snow peas, bean sprouts

5) Name 5 of your "favorite" fruits.
strawberries, oranges, pomegranates (the juice at least), avocados, watermelon

6) Name some vegetables/foods that you've never tried but think sound tasty.
Shark fin soup, truffles, raw oysters. Haggis does not sound tasty, but I'd still be willing to try it.

7) Be honest...how many days in the fridge until you toss food?
I'm pretty forgetful, it can be few weeks.

8) Be honest...how many "free" seconds on the floor will you still consider something edible?
It depends on the floor. Home: 5, Work: 0. Also, it depends on what part of it touched the floor. (see below)

9) What's the most "adventurous" thing you've eaten? Did you like it? Would you eat it again?
One time, I went over to Sarah's for dinner and after several hours due to an oven malfunction, Sarah took out the meatloaf, tripped, and dropped it on the floor. By that time, it was late, we were starving; there was really nothing to do, but cut off the top part that touched the floor and eat the rest. It was still in the pan when it landed, so technically there wasn't anything wrong with the rest of it, but yeah, eating floorloaf wasn't my proudest moment. Damn munchies.

10) Where do you prefer to purchase foodstuffs?
Crest for basic stuff. There's also a gourmet cooking store in Norman that has some fun stuff, although it's pretty pricey.

11) Do you eat out a lot? If so, what's your fave restaurant/dish?
Yes, as I'm a lazy cook. My favorite restaurants are Tokyo Sushi, Zorba's Greek Restaurant, Ted's Cafe Escondido, and Panera Bread.

12) What appeals to you most in food? Is it brand, presentation, color, texture, flavor, or something else/combination of the above?
Definitely flavor. Presentation, texture etc, are all nice, but those are variables I can ignore if it tastes good.

13) Do you ever eat in "secret"? If so, what do you eat...that's right, name your deepest darkest foodie secrets!!
Not really.

14) Is there something you love to eat that you know you shouldn't? If so, what is it and why do you think you can't stop?
Raw meat. It's a Korean dish. Very yummy, although I know I shouldn't eat it, for obvious reasons. Interestingly, although my Mom is Korean, has seen various family members and friends eat this, and will in fact, actually fix this for me, she still gets grossed out by it.

15) Which condiments could you absolutely not live without?
Soy sauce. And Cavendar's Greek seasoning.

16) "Supper" or "dinner"?
Dinner

17) Do you have a favorite meal? If so, what is it?
Fried chicken and mashed potatoes. For all the weird food that I like, this would be the perfect comfort food.

18) How about a favorite food saying or phrase?
Don't really have one. Does "floorloaf" count?

Oklahoma's under a tornado warning! In freakin' November! Craziness!

Also, I believe BPAL is supposed to be doing an update later tonight. I'm tempted to stay up just to see what they're coming out with for their anniversary/full moon post. I'm sure it'll break my bank account, regardless. Terribly curious, but I need sleep!
