I <3 jellyfish, I could watch them all day. Maybe I need to take another trip to the local aquarium near Tulsa. I should take my walkman and listen to Radiohead's Kid A album for optimal sea-creature watching trippiness.

I love jellyfish, despite having had one grab onto my stomach when I was wearing a bikini at the beach on year. That left a mark.

The aquarium I used to go to has a huge jellyfish display, decorated like a Jules-Verne-y type sitting room. It has sofas, a chandelier, and portholes you can look out of to see the jellyfish. So neat.

Last time I went we got to pet starfish, crabs and rays... this year apparently they let you pet some of the sharks!

That display sounds really cool. The display in Oklahoma is fairly small; they don't have too many. And I remember that there were a couple of displays that actually had recipes listed next to them 0.o

I love those guys. Those and the cephalopods rule the whole aquarium.
Maybe you should get a pet jellyfish :P They have these little guys at the local pet fish store - they seem so sad bobbing around in circles in their eensy containers...

I really liked the penguins in Monterey too, although for some reason I didn't take a picture of them.

Poor jellyfish! I always feel bad for the little bettas in their tiny cups. I imagine it would be even harder to take care of a pet jellyfish.
