*sigh* I'm such a lazy-ass blogger and it's been like, three weeks already, but here are some more pictures from my trip to Sacramento...

There was a lot of taiko drumming. Ok, I admit to not really liking children, but it was very cute to see all the little kids dressed up in kimono for Obon.

The church has a class on how to make Japanese dolls! They displayed some of their work in a cultural exhibit during the food bazaar. I was so disappointed that the class wasn't being held while I was in town and there are no books in English on how to make these. Poo.

Another doll, representing Sei Shonagon I believe.

Cute dragons.

The altar inside the temple.

Odori dancers. I found it funny that those lanterns have names of different brands of beer on them, like Asahi, Kirin, etc. Because when you're at a religious festival, it's Suntory time.

More Odori dancers.

One of my sister's ferrets, Riceball. ZOMG, I WANT A FERRET NOW. They are so cute.
