(AOL needs to stop crashing while I type this post. Arrrgh!) Anyways, I haven't made any crafty posts lately, so here's what I've been up to on that front.
I finally got "The Kiss" framed at Michaels and it's hanging in my living room now.

I thought I would be sick of cross stitching after finishing that project, but actually, I still feel pretty enthused about it. For Christmas, I stitched this picture of the Beatles as a present for Sarah. Done in shades of orange since it is her signature color.

The first finish of 2007 was this Halloween Fairy kit by Mirabilia. I didn't want to do another Mirabilia pattern so soon after "The Kiss", but they came out with their first Halloween pattern, so I had to get it because I have no impulse control.

There's a few things I've worked on that I don't have pictures of yet. I finished the bookmark for the lj group swap and a Just Nan sampler, then I started another JN sampler involving peacocks and a little fuzzy bunny picture. Then I got distracted and decided I needed to start another Big Ass Project, discovered Chatelaine Designs. and picked out the Taj Mahal Mandala Garden to do. (It took me several days to choose a pattern. They are purty.)
This is what it will look like when it's done. It's 16"x16".

My supplies and linen. That's a fuckload of silk thread, son.

And after 16 days of work. My arms haven't fallen off yet, yay. But they will.

In other news, the work computers came back online on Friday afternoon in the middle of The Departed. But they're not entirely debugged, so they run ungodly slow (more than the usual insanely slow), are prone to crashing and have (OH NOES) no internets on them at all. Not even CNN or Weather.com, the latter of which would be helpful because I'd like to know if that wind out there is building up to a tornado. I'm just saying a little internets would be nice.

sucky about the computers, although I'm giggling. half your programs still run on the websites, don't they? ;)

And all our programs run on websites now. They changed it so we have to log onto Viewpoint from a website. It blows. We were mostly able to get regular internets yesterday though.
