fiercebunnyI finally finished my needleroll for the group exchange. True to my procrastinating nature, I didn't get this finished till 3am the day of the deadline. This was for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
eirland; since she said she liked floral, celtic and Irish designs, I chose "Shamrock Sampler" by the Sweetheart Tree. This was the first needleroll I've made. I messed up on the hems a little, but overall I had fun making it. I think I'm going to get a Shepherd's Bush kit and try out another one.
In other news, I finally, finally called AT&T and ordered high speed internet. WHEE! Bye bye, crappy AOL! I should have wi-fi by Tuesday, if everything goes well, that is. (If there's naught but radio silence on Wednesday, please send help.)
Squee! There's a Doctor Who commecial on PBS right now! Okay, so I already have the season 1 dvds, but I'm still excited. *geek* Now I can watch it without having to walk the five feet to the dvd player. Maybe they'll show season 2 later, which stupid Netflix doesn't have for some reason.
3 days of freedom left. what i'm going to miss the most about being unemployed is not working when Aunt Flo visits. Thank Jebus it started today and not Monday.
