Eh, I signed up for a Twitter account. Seeing as how everyone from my favorite bands to the local cupcake shop update there, it seemed like a good idea. Maybe short thoughts will work out in my favor.

So please, if you have a Twitter or know of an entertaining one, let me know so I can follow you. There are still a few hours of my day that are spoilt by not being wasted on the internets.

I'm not sure I see myself tweeting too much either, but it seems like a good way of keeping updated on stuff. I refuse to do facebook though.

Yeah, I tend to follow interesting people there and have some other twitters on my google feed. At least it's a way of communicating or once in a while entering a contest, lol!

I'm with you on Facebook. I have no desire to use it or follow people or anything with it. They must be spending a ton of money on advertising. But they make it back by selling users' info. I spend too much time on-line as it is. I'd rather spend time doing Real Life things. Plus it's a lot of sell sell sell from people on there it seems.

Honestly lately has Facebook started coming off like Big Brother? Join us or you won't be in with the In Crowd. You want to be one with us. That sort of thing? I'm looking forward to news reports about people who aren't Facebook users. Because not everyone is.

Yeah, Facebook and their business policies are creepy. I think they do try to exert pressure on people to join because 'everyone' is doing it. Hopefully, the fad will fade, just like myspace did.

I was hoping MySpace would get better with the changes they were going to make. But no, it's more difficult to use and less flexibility for the user. It's too bad since it was a great way to get info on music without having to bother with the social stuff if one didn't want that.

Boy if I was still into doing psychology stuff it would be very interesting to study the effect of cell phones and social websites on our culture and on people and how they interact now.
