Nov. 4th, 2008 02:19 amYAY! It is a beautiful day. I am so glad that I'm alive to see history in the making and am very, very proud to be an American.
There were many happy teary moments tonight, but this part from our President-Elect's speech really gets to me:
"Tonight we proved once more that the true strength of our nation comes not from the might of our arms or the scale of our wealth, but from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity and unyielding hope."
